Dr. Alicia Grossmann MD

She listened and fully explained my issue. She is not the same old dry Dr. that we have been seeing iver the decades. Nice senxse of humor too.

She addressed the possible severe problems that could be occuring but once those were ruled out, then I was advised to deal with the pain and it may go away. So, I didn't receive a resolution to my problem.

This was my first doctors appointment in years. I have always been leary of going to the doctor. Dr. Grossmann was very friendly, explained every step of the process she would be taking with me, and explained what medicine she was prescribing and the effects it would take. Overall, this was a very satisfying experience. Have already scheduled additional appointments with her and look forward to those appointments.

Loved my experience setting up appointment with ZocDoc. The paperwork was available to print off and complete beforehand. The visit with the doctor was mostly spent discussing things I needed to cover for my annual check-up. Great experience! Great doctor!

About 18 months ago, I was with one of those big box "clinics" because it was the fastest thing I could find when I first moved here 14 years ago and got sick. Those of you that have been with one of these conglomerates know why I changed. You get tired of being treated like a number. You get tired of being rushed, the doctor flitting around, asking questions, spending 2 minutes with you, writing an RX and running out the room before you are even able to say hello. I kept meaning to find a small doctor's office but just never got around to actually doing it. After having surgery that my previous doctor wasn't all that supportive of (weight loss surgery), I went looking for someone new. All I knew is that I wanted a female doctor that wasn't in a big clinic, wasn't rushing around like a chicken with her head cut off and wasn't going to make me feel like a failure for doing what I had to for my health. And thus began my Google search. I called a few, but mainly got kind of a "meh" feeling from those folks. I came across Dr. Grossmann's website and I really liked what I read so I called and the person answering the phone was SO nice and answered all my questions and didn't seem to care if she sat there all day reassuring me that this doctor wasn't going to "fuss at me" for anything. So, fresh out of weight loss surgery, I made an appointment to visit with Dr. Grossmann. Never. Ever. EVER in my entire life have I ever felt so unrushed at an appointment. I wasn't there for any real medical reason other than a general check up, but I think I learned more about her, and more importantly, she learned more about me, in that one appointment than my previous doctor ever had. AND she was supportive. Of my own journey, of where I was going and what I was doing. I've seen her for the usual stuff, when I get sick, etc etc. Always the same thing, the wait is never more than 10 minutes or so in the waiting room and usually no more than 5 in the exam room. It's WEIRD. Like... how can not every doctor do this? I mean, THIS is how healthcare should be people! Several months ago, I went to her with severe weird pain in one arm. I thought it was my shoulder. No. I was CONVINCED it was my shoulder. I kind of thought she was a little off the mark when she ordered an MRI and told me she was pretty sure it was my neck. I had to eat crow a couple of days later when she called and told me to get my "on pain pills but still in severe crippling pain" butt to the ER because I had a ruptured disc in my neck. Yeah, so she saw me through that surgery too. Did I mention that SHE actually called me with the results? Yeah, the doctor. Not her nurse. Not some faceless person in the office. SHE called me and SHE told me to get my butt to the ER. More recently, I've had other issues that she's working with me with. Again, never in a hurry, always with a smile and she always completely explains what we're doing and why. I'm never left feeling like I'm in the dark or that she's talking down to me. When I have a question, she explains it and if I still don't get it, she explains it again (laughing). My husband has also switched to this same doctor, we are both THRILLED with her and her staff. They go WAY out of their way for you. Never rush you and they have a lab on site. Seriously. It doesn't get easier. Honestly, I wish I had found her many years ago. It would have saved me YEARS of aggravation with my previous primary doctor. Again, THIS is how healthcare should be.

Very, very good and extremely professional Doctor. I am so glad I found such a female Doctor I can trust, I can feel at ease to talk to and ask advice. She is very attentionate to any details. Plus, she has a very good staff around her (from the receptionist to the nurse). I will come back.

I was very impressed with Dr. Grossman and her staff. I was immediately taken back to my examining room and was out of the office in less than 35 minutes which included a blood test for my annual wellness check. Dr. Grossman was very thorough and left time for questions.

Super nice and friendly, so easy to talk to, took her time and listened to all my concerns and gave me sincere and professional advise. I look forward to having her as my regular doctor.

This was my new patient visit / physical. Patiently spoke with me about the several concerns I had. Very understanding and importantly, not condescending! Gave knowledgeable advice that another doctor failed to give me and made clear and quick recommendations. Very happy with Dr. Grossman!

Absolutely the best. My appointment was at 11:30 and I was taken right in. I did not even finish my paperwork before the doctor came in. First time I have ever been to a doctor who I felt didn't overbook and realized that my time is also valuable. The doctor was very professional and took time to ask questions and get to know me a little. The staff was wonderful. I hate going to the doctor but I didn't hate this appointment. Never thought I would say I didn't mind going to the doctor. I would definitely recommend Dr. Grossmann.

Dr Grossman spent quality time with me answering all of my questions. She was extremely thorough and detailed in her responses. I loved being able to get my blood work done in house! I would definitely recommend Dr. Grossman and feel that I made a good choice in doctors this year after a final decision to switch from the doctor I had been seeing the past few years.

I liked Dr. Grossman a lot. I didn't feel rushed, and I felt like she went over everything with me. I would highly recommend her. I had an 8:30 appointment and was out of the office by 9:05 (including time with the nurse and getting my blood drawn), so the office runs efficiently.

I am very pleased with Dr Grossman. I was looking for a new primary care physician and have now found her. Looking over my medical records she noticed one of my prescriptions might interfere with other ones. I will be changing that medicine thanks to her reccomendation.

I didn't see her until 25 min past my appointment time. Since I had a morning appointment, I think this was a long wait. However, she did take her time with me, which I appreciate. I found her easy to talk to and non-judgmental.
